This horse broke his maiden 1st time out and looked to have a real future. He’s been bouncing arond , but his last 2 races look like he’s coming around again. That speed of his may be all it takes to wire this fieldd today going a mile on the speed favoring Arloington turf.

BEST BET–DEL MAR–RACE 8–# 2 FORTUNIA.
Sounds familiar, well they scratched her yesterday to run troday in this Grade II going a mile. I like her for all the reasons I liked her yesterday and even more. Scratched to run in a Grade II, and a better distance for her today. Should get a nice run at the leaders as the go thru the far turn. Im loading up on her today.

Joe Talamo is riding the Delmar turf course like he owns it. Horse sports a perfect record except for loss to California Flag, last years BC Sprint champ. Not too shabby a report card folks. Comes into todays race with a nice work around the dogs on turf up at Hollywood. Lokks real good here today.

VALUE BET–MONMOUTH PARK–RACE 8–# 3 MINNAMANA.
Been running very well since his vacation. Sports a win and 4th in his last 2. Last a late turn of speed , which has been good at Monmouth all year. Luis Garcia comes up fro Maryland for the mount, his only mount of the day.

BEST BET–ARLINGTON PARK–RACE 5–# 6 GENERAL CHARLEY.
Comes in off a 3 races win streak and the lack of early lick in here will enable him to make it 4. Chris Block bring the 8 year old gelding back at the 25k price tag and when these ol’ geldings get in good shape they stay there. Has a real nice work on July 17th to show us he’s still in form. Bet and watch he’ll wire this field again.

NEXT BEST–DEL MAR–RACE 6–# 6 FORTUNIA.
Cash Assmussen, “the other Assmussen”, brings this filly to the beach in tip top form. A different horse since going on the lawn and ran a real, nice  2nd to a very good one in WASTED TEARS  in her last. Has had traffic issues in 2 of her last 3 and still managed a win and a 2nd. Goes from Lone Star to Delmar, so we will indeed get a price and the snobs of LaJolla won’t respect her at the windows….take advantage of that.

VALUE BET–DEL MAR—RACE 8–# 1 CROWDED HOUSE.
Taking a flyer here, this colt comes from Newmarket and Ascot to the G1 Eddie Read.  Gets Lasix for the 1st time which may improve him quite a bit. Been running against some real good ones in Dubai and England. Gets Tyler Baze and gets a few pounds as well. May lite it up and double digit odds.

BEST BET–MONMOUTH PARK–RACE 10–# 3 BEYONDALLBOUNDARYS.
Tommy Amoss running a horse at Monmouth?? I don’t think he ever has. Horse is stellar on dirt, her only bad lifetime race was on polytrack and I doubt we’ll ever see her on that surface again. Will sit just off the lead her today and should go by this field like they were tied to a pole.

NEXT BEST–DEL MAR–RACE 6–# 3 JUNIPER PASS.
Has faced some good ones while in the maiden ranks. Comes into todays race with favorable conditions for his late move. Runs in the stretch every time and looks like a very good play today at what should be at about 8-1.

VALUE BET–DEL MAR—RACE 5–# 5—BIG BAD LEROYBROWN.
Has been traing very,very well for his race off a layoff. Has a very good late run which is good at this oval and he really, really likes this surface  with2 wins and 2 2nds over it. Gets Talamo up today and this is the lowest tag he’s ever been offered for. A great bet at 6-1.

BEST BET—HOLLYWOOD PARK–RACE 2–# 8 PRETTY KINZIE.
Comes off 4 very niceraces here at Hollywood, and now trainer drops her even lower in the claiming ranks, looks good today.

Ran into a road block last time out and the comment line doesn’t even mention it. How do I know, thts what I’m paid to do. I was there and saw it, a steal at 6-1 today.

BEST BET–ARLINGTON PARK–RACE 8–# 1 WULFGAR.
Ran an OK 4th last time out on the grass at Arlington. BUT, the top 4 finishers came back out of that rac to win again. That make that a huge key race. That makes this Chris Block runner a major play todday.

NEXT BEST–ARLINGTON PARK–RACE 4–# 7  JUDY MY DARLING.
Undefeated on the artificial surface. Got a bit of a rest, been off since May and her 2 consecutive wins. Comes back at a higher tag than when she left for raineer Larry Rivelli, who is winning at 29% this meet a nd is 24 % off these short layoffs.

DOUBLE EAGLE has been very good of late wiining at both Monmouth and Delaware with nice late moves. DUBAI ECHO has been a differet horse since the addition of blinkers. Put them together for a nice exacta box.

Caught her while at Keeneland in April for her debut at 21-1. Came back afew months later amd whistled at Hollywood. Looks like a future star in the making here folks. Will win her second stakes today in 2 tries..NICE HORSE.

Comes off the shelf for David Fawkes, the 1 horse in here will be way over bet. Lezcano, who rode this colt at Gulfstream this winter is still aborad, a very good sign. Lezcano winning at 26 % at Monmouth, may get lucky and get 5/2 here…

Got to look hard at this guy, was 25 lengths out of it at the half in his debut and closed to within 10. Hidden move. Gets a major change today from De Carlo to Trujillo. By ESSENCE OF DUBAI and a UNBRIDLED mare.. TURF BREEDING HERE. Feel the last was an awakener for his debut and today this guy will be going all out at double digits too.

BEST BET–ARLINGTON PARK–RACE 3–# 8 STEPASIDE.
This gelding is undefeated at todays mile distance.Will be sitting just off the speed and get the first jump on them and will make a move earlier then the deep closers. Caught a yielding surface last time aout and will definitely move up on firmer turf today.

Mike Trombetta ship to So. Florida today with a top sprinter from his barn. Won his last at Monmouth and is undefeated at 6 furlongs a perfect 5 for 5. Has been woking well at Monmouth since his last start in May. Ran this winter against the likes of Munnings, Quality Road, You and I Forever and Cool Coal Man and was not disgraced. Sprinting is his game, looks good at 8-1 today.

VALUE BET–CALDER—RACE 11–# 8 DUBAI MAJESTY.
Bret Calhoun is a sprinting trainer and his horses are always ready. Won the Grade III Winning Colors last time out at Churchilland of 12 tries at todays distance sports 5 wins and 5 seconds. Miguel Mena takes the flight to Miami as well after being aboard for her last win. Another nice 8-1 play.

BEST BET–MONMOUTH PARK—RACE 10–# 9 JACOBS RUN.
Ships up from Delaware for this 10 claimer. Was running for 16 and 17500 in Delaware, so we get a sizeable drop in class. was running well at Delaware with a win and 2nd in his last 2. Gets Bravo up  and a favorable pace to run into.

NEXT BEST–ARLINGTON PARK—RACE 4–# 2 ROYAL JABAR.
Gets back on polytrack today, his only race on the plastic was a win at Keeneland. Anything resembling that race will crush this field today. Trainer has won with 9 of 17 starters at the meet, a gaudy 41% with winners and ITM 17 of 22 times.

I really like # 4 POINTING NORTH, A South African gelding that likes sprinting on the turf. Many an older horse from South Africa has come hre and flourished, SPOOK EXPRESS keeps coming to mnd. # 3  A UNIQUE TREASURE has been running well sprinting on the turf and looks well spotted in this spot. # 1 BIG DEALER has the speed and the rail and will be in the number.

Chuck Peery has an uncoupled entry in here, the 2 and the 3. The 2 is the speed and this guy is the closer. Ran very well sprinting on polytrack at Keeneland in the Spring. I feel he will do veryn will sprinting today on the weeds as well especially with the pace set up for his late kick.

I know MINE THAT  BIRD is coming back in this race, but he didn’t like polytrack so why should I think he’ll like grass?? I know SKIPADATE likes turf and is very good that the mile distance of todays tilt. Solis has been riding very will lately and will have this guy outside horses and primed fopr a late charge today.

VALUE BET—WOODBINE—RACE 10–# 4 DARK CLOUD DANCER.
Goes from an allowance race to the biggest 3yr old race in Canada. Vey competitive and has every right to improve further today, out of a Mr Prospector mare and by Storm Cat this guy has every right to put in a big run today and at a huge price.
