TUESDAY IS TROT NIGHT FROM MOHAWK- BRONCOBUSTER
 
I’ve analsyed the card for tonight and land on 3 trotters for my selections tonight..  Some other honorable mentions that i didn’t use, but, could have include  Race 2 #6 Allamerican Extra and Race 10 #3 Ciano Man…. The latter has been a choice of mine a few times and his late kick is a huge asset, but, a predicted win just hasn’t come and he’s had to settle for minor awards.  Drops tonight from open claiming to a low end condition race.  As for Allamerican Extra,  team Moreau is heating up and that trainer could win a couple tonight!  This horse was a $ 50,000 claim back in March and the current connections are looking to recoup part of that investment! I’ve went with one of his trotters, Mr. Tasty as a solid play in Race 7.   Good Luck with how you see it tonight and hope you can cash some decent tickets!
 
Best Bet-  Race 3 #2 Digital Image, M/L 7-2.  Drops into a likely spot with this move to one of the lowest conditon races offered.  A win puts him over 500K for his career.  He has faced much better in the past and i expect a good steer from Paul MacDonell tonight. A must use in all the gimmick plays, as i cannot see him missing the board in here.
 
Next Best-  Race 7 #7 Mr. Tasty, M/L 5-1.  Had some time off after racing and vacationing in Florida.  He came back and raced at Georgian downs last out, as a tune-up for this spot.  Team Moreau should have him moving forward second time off the shelf.  He to has raced against much deeper and tougher fields than he faces tonight.  A must use on your pick 4 tickets and all other gimmicks.
 
Value Bet- Race 9 #1 Tac’s Delight, M/L 8-1.  WIN PLACE SHOW.  Faces a formidable bunch with the likes of Slave Dream and Chick N Tell, who are dropping from the open ranks.  That makes his task tonight daunting to say the least.  But, the price will be square and I’m considering that team Bossence is starting to heat up right now and i just have the feeling that Chick N Tell is battling through some issues at the moment, which makes me think tonight is the night to take a shot at juicy alternative.  This guy fits that bill tonight!   WPS will spread the risk out a little bit and make sure to include him in your EXA selections, as there should be all kinds of value in that pool as well.

Wesley Ward returns  and dices with being thrown into the Tower of London if he repeats his historic victory rampage of last year, In tow is K. Mcpeek one of the States best conditioners…… This handicapper also wants to repeat is huge winners from this meet last year…..Good luck gents fly the flag high……….

Wesley Ward trys to do the unthinkable and win with an American trained horse in back to back years.
This guy is also entered in the Norfolk stakes on Thursday this could be more to his liking.
The overiding comment from Jocks, trainers and startingate staff on the American runners last year was the blinding speed out of the gate. Trained to explode was one remark.
This guy will be no different, only one run in his life.
  I was in attendance that day at Keeneland over 4 furlongs on Polytrack, the race lost a few runners because of the track conditions so if thier is a little rain here it wont bother this guy nor the turf.
He exploded and went wire to wire dont see any different tactics today . One other interesting note, which is not seen to often in a 2yo race here is that he is gelded the only one in the race trimmed for speed. Unfrotunatly he is not going to be much of a price but will be worth watching a fast piece of history for sure……

St James palace stakes Gr 1 3yo colts.1mile.
Fascinating race, classic winners in abundance pretenders by the bag full. lots of tactics in this race,  Hannon with a pair Obrien with three,  French with a couple and the lone runner from good old USA…
 What  a runner though. I watched him win the futurity at Keenland last fall with a lot of class, came up short in the Breeders but was primed for the Derby Trail and ran a very respectable Kentucky Derby finishing fith to Super Saver. This guy has ran and won on the turf drops back to a mile if Fallon can get him on the front its picture time with the Queen…..

Queen Anne Stakes Gr 1 4yo’s plus.  1 mile.
Europes top older milers make  up this field. Goldikova has won 9 straight group races and will be the one to catch today. Lots of value in the field Paco Boy is off to a great start this season beat the selection in the Lockinge Stakes a Newbury. However that was the season debut for last years Jersey stakes winner  he should come on a pile for the run and cause the days biggest upset……

Best Bet: Mountaineer Race 1 WIN #6 Sweet Shame (7/2 ML). Today’s opener is a five and ½ furlong maiden claimer for fillies and mares and I’m backing Sweet Shame, a 3YO Kansas-bred filly who will be ridden by Loveberry. Keep an eye on the two horses starting to her inside, #5 Forceful Wynn (3/1 ML) and the morning line favorite #4 Remedy (5/2 ML).

Next Best: Mountaineer Race 3 WIN #4 Brilliant Bid (3/1 ML). The next Stop on the card is a seven and ½ furlong Turf contest with eight geldings entered and Brilliant Bid, a 6YO Bluegrass-bred who will be ridden by Houghton, looks like the one to beat.

Value Bet: Mountaineer Race 4 WIN #1 Billybeck (10/1 ML). This one mile and 70 yard claimer could offer some value. Each of the seven entries is scheduled to carry 123 pounds and Parker could ride this horse to the winner’s circle. With lucrative odds like this on the morning line, it’s worth a look. OK, Zenyatta wins and it’s ho hum, she loses it’s news. I’ going to make news, ST Trinians will get the early jump over Zenyatta and win today. 17 is the unlucky number , just ask the people involved with Cigar, Mister Frisky and Citation. All their streak ended at 16, so will Zenyattas. This mare is undefeated as well on poly against females since coming from England. Garcia is hot and he will be even hotter after taking down Zenyatta today.

Has hit the board 5 of 7 times on turf and ran 4th to PADDY O PRADO at Gulfstream in the Palm Beach. Ran a nice 2nd after that in the American Turf at CD. Lezcano flies to kentucky to ride for the injured Leparoux. Eddie Kenneally has him ready for another good effort today.

Was making a huge winning move at Keeneland when Borel got shut off on the rail. He doesn’t get shut off at Chuirchill but does at Keeneland. Ran a nice race last out, that effoert at Lexington, I feel left him a bitm short. Lokks very good in this spot today.

JOHARMONY is 3 fo 4 lifetime on the weeds, winning his last on the Black Eyed Susan card at Pimlico. ITS TEA TIME has been flawless on poly and turf, her only bad race was her last against BLIND LUCK on the dirt inThe Oaks. Back to her best surface today…make the exacta box here folks.

RIP Kip DeVille. Was saddened to read that he was euthanized yesterday after losing a long battle with laminitis in both front feet. Kip won the 2007 Breeder’s Cup Mile and amassed career earnings of over $3 million.

On a brighter note, lotsa good racing today, the highlight being the Stephen Foster at Churchill Downs. Very impressive group of horses squaring off in that one. Arson Squad is on a roll right now and General Quarters should be in the mix. Blame is always dangerous, especially with Go Go on board, but he’ll have a lot of work to do from the outside post. All viable options, but I’m going with another – check out my Best Bet below. Today Rachel Alexandra is facing off against only 4 challengers in the Fleur De Lis. Looks like it will be a well-paid workout for her on her home ground with local hero Borel on board. She has shown a few chinks in her armor this year, though, so if I were to bet a longshot, it would be Cali girl Made for Magic.

Your BEST BET is 4 DUKE OF MISCHIEF in CHURCHILL RACE 10, The Stephen Foster (6/1 ML). Colt is looking good this year with 2 wins in 3 starts and posted a blistering 107 Beyer in his last. He’s proven at the distance and loves the dirt. Regular rider Coa stays with him for a very sharp barn.

Your NEXT BEST BET is 1 SIX GUN CITY in MONMOUTH RACE 6 (6/1 ML). This speedy guy seems to keep coming up short in duels and has settled for 2nd or 3rd in all 5 starts. He faces a little easier today and with a clean break, it’s finally graduation day. Winning connections.

Your VALUE BET is WIN/PLACE/SHOW on 2 HARMONIZER in MONMOUTH RACE 9 (10/1 ML). Finished a game second in the Belmont mud and is capable at this distance. This guy can fire from off the pace and could benefit nicely from a duel between the frontrunners. Maker is on fire this meet.

Regally bred colt stretches to a mile and an eighth and will appreciate the distance. Has many big horsees in his running lines, he gets a class drop here to boot. Eoin Harty seems to have found a nice spot for this colt to gain another condition.

Has the early turn of foot that will keep him in contention the entire race. Has been running against the big boys like KARELIAN, GIO PONTI AND RAHYSTRADA, who he ran 2nd to. Lokks to be coming into todays race in top form for Mc Peek.

First timer for Margolis has been training steadily at CD for todays debut. Margolis is 26% with firsters and this colt has 3 nice works in a row spread 7 days apart. Margolis looks to have a nic firster on his hands here today.

Next Best: Race 5 #8 TIME COUNTS (4-1) is bred to be especially fast and could upend this deep field for Asmussen.

Value Play: Race 9 #8 IT’S TEA TIME (9-2) should be favored against these in my opinion and could provide great value in a big field.
